Toronto Police Service said the incidents took place several weeks ago and believes there may be more victims.
Toronto police arrested a man on Saturday in connection with multiple assaults on the TTC that occurred in May.
The 28-year-old man from Toronto was charged with six counts of assault, 26 counts of breaching probation, two counts of uttering threats as well as unlawfully at large.Police said on May 15, a man exiting a subway car at Coxwell Station spat at two passengers as they were boarding the train. The next day on May 16, police said a man walking away from Main Station spat at another passenger as they were walking towards the station.The man was scheduled to appear in a Toronto court on Sunday, May 28.
