25-year-old was arrested after police say the individual broke a glass door at a tavern early Sunday morning
The East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a disturbance at a local tavern in the Town of Thessalon on Sunday at approximately 1:50 a.m.
Police said an individual had been kicked out of the tavern and was banging on the door. While officers were making their way to the establishment, the person broke the glass on the door and was attempting to re-enter the premises, and then the individual left. At approximately 2:10 a.m., police located and arrested a person on Main Street, who they said was intoxicated. The accused was transported to Thessalon detachment and was lodged until sober.As a result, Gunnar Sales, 25 years of age from Otterville, was charged with:None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
