Toronto police have charged a man with second-degree murder and shared the name of the woman found dead in an apartment in the city’s west end on Sunday.
Toronto Fire said crews and EMS services responded to reports of “unknown trouble” near Harbord Street and Ossington Avenue at around 11:44 a.m. on Sunday.The woman had signs of “serious injuries” and died on scene, according to police.On Thursday, police said the victim is Yoleidys Vilar Arroyo, 50, of Toronto.The victim and suspect knew each other, police said in a media briefing on Sunday.
