Noel Munoz Lopez was on probation and had been convicted in at least four violent felonies, court document state, when he allegedly shot an 82-year-old man who was on a morning walk Oct. 4 in West Valley City.
Farrell Bartschi was a ‘total stranger’ to Noel Munoz Lopez, 34, who is charged with fatally shooting Bartschi.
Investigators determined Lopez fired three shots at Bartschi that morning when the 82-year-old passed Lopez’s relatives’ house on his morning walk, court documents state.
