Joshua Ward, 37, was charged Tuesday with aggravated murder in the death of Shievon Seats, 43, of Cleveland Heights, according to spokesman from the Cleveland Heights Police Department. Seats was pronounced at the scene.

Ward called police at 6 a.m. Monday and told the dispatcher he shot Seats in the head, according to police. She was dead on the kitchen floor at her home in the 3000 block of East Overlook Road.It is unclear whether Ward and Seats were dating at the time of the shooting, but police say they were in a relationship “at some point.”
