The Vineland man was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when the motorcycle crashed, killing passenger Naisha Peterson, prosectors said.
Joseph J. Melini, of Vineland, was under the influence of alcohol when the motorcycle crashed Oct. 30, 2021, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office alleged.
Naisha Peterson, 36, of Mays Landing, died at the scene of the wreck, which occurred about 8:10 p.m. in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue, according to the prosecutor’s office.He was arrested Monday after an investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Crash Investigations Unit. The prosecutor’s office did not say why the arrest took nearly two years.
