Malkiat (Bill) Shoker, who was involved in a tractor crash protest on Highway 1 in Surrey, has been charged with several offences, including assaulting a police officer with a weapon. Shoker, who claims his protest was against an educational resource called SOGI 123, appeared at the Chilliwack RCMP detachment and was released with no conditions pending his first court appearance in January.
