A 21-year-old man has been charged with numerous driving offences after a carjacking and car crash in the M5 tunnel on Saturday

Emergency services were called to the M5 tunnel in Arncliffe just before 12.30am following reports of a crash involving a Mazda and Range Rover. Following the incident, two passers-by in a Honda stopped to help. It's alleged the five men in the Mazda entered the Honda andA car crash that became a car theft in the early hours of Saturday September 14, 2019.The Range Rover’s 19-year-old driver was taken to hospital with cuts, bruises and a suspected broken hand.On Saturday, NSW Ambulance acting Inspector Paul Sweetland said it was "quite amazing" the woman had not suffered more severe injuries.
