The victim told responding officers that the man jumped through a window and assaulted and “inappropriately touched the victim,” who was not identified due to being a minor.
But Beatty reportedly “took off in his vehicle,” and, “after investigating and reviewing surveillance video,” officers arrested him and he was booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. However, Beatty is no longer in custody, jail records show.
“The Rio Vista Police Department would like to remind everyone that sexual assault is unlawful and subject to prosecution,” the post reported. “If you have been subject to unwanted touching, we encourage you to contact the police department.”
