A 53-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after stabbing another man on Thursday evening.
Hamilton police have arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with a stabbing that sent a man to hospital on Thursday evening. Police said they responded to a call shortly after 7 p.m., near 135 Mary Street in downtown Hamilton , where they found the victim with a stab wound to the chest.The accused was arrested at the scene of the incident and has been charged with aggravated assault, police said. Police did not identify the suspect, but said he is a Hamilton resident.
