Tucson police announced that they arrested 30-year-old Jose Ricardo Hernandez Jr. in connection to a fatal hit-and-run on Oct. 27.

An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal hit-and-run in Tucson the night of Oct. 27.

Officers from both Tucson Fire and the Operations Divisions East responded to a call of a reported hit-and-run in the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and East Old Spanish Trail just before 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, according to the incident report. Traffic unit detectives began conducting interviews at the scene and were able to determine that Mugford had been crossing Broadway Boulevard.
