The arrest follows searches in the Newtownards area
A 45-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody following searches related to an ongoing UDA feud in North Down.
Detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force investigating a series of attacks linked to the feud between rival drugs gangs conducted a search at a property in Newtownards on Thursday, 6th April.Read more: Man accused of threatening to “stiff” resident as part of loyalist feud refused bail Detective Inspector Maguire said: “A number of items have been recovered for further examination and a 45-year-old man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act and he is currently in the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave.
