Jo Jo Dullard has been missing since November 1995, with her last known interaction being a telephone call made to a friend that evening - an arrest has now been made
Ms Dullard has been missing for 29 years, having disappeared in November 1995 at the age of 21.
The man in his 50s was arrested in Co Kildare this morning and is being detained at a garda station in the county, RTE News has reported. On the 9th November 1995 she travelled to Dublin where she spent the evening socialising in Bruxelles Bar, and when she missed her last bus home to Kilkenny that evening she instead boarded a bus to Naas, Co. Kildare. She hitched a lift from Naas to the slip road on the M9 motorway at Kilcullen, Co. Kildare before at 11.15pm hitching another lift to Moone, Co. Kildare.
