A man has been arrested after he allegedly crashed his car, carjacked the victim’s vehicle, jumped on the windshield of another car and broke it, then climbed on top of a school bus in northeast Austin.
According to an affidavit obtained by KVUE, 43-year-old Marvin Keith Deonn Williams hit a woman’s car from behind in the center median near the intersection of The victim told police Williams then got out of the car and fled on foot before trying to carjack another vehicle at the intersection. That driver had locked his vehicle doors and Williams was unsuccessful, the affidavit said.
Williams then reportedly walked back to the scene of the crash as the woman stood outside her opened car door. She claims Williams walked up to her and physically assaulted her, forcing his way into the driver’s seat. He then took the victim’s vehicle and sped off eastbound on East Howard Lane.Man arrested in connection with 2 Austin murders in the same monthWilliams then abandoned the victim’s damaged stolen vehicle a few blocks away, according to the affidavit.
