A man has been accused of kidnapping and assaulting a 13-year-old girl in north Houston, Constable Mark Herman posted on Facebook.
Harris County Constable Precinct 4’s Office was notified Friday of a girl possibly with an older man on the 16900 block of Northchase Drive, Herman said. When deputies arrived, the girl was with a man identified as Lyndell Horton, 24. Further investigation found the girl was allegedly kidnapped and threatened at gunpoint, Herman said.“While being held against her will, she was assaulted and possibly sexually assaulted by the suspect,” Herman posted.
Horton was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He is charged with aggravated kidnapping.
