Bruce Cockburn: 50 years of music, spirituality and social justice | SaltWireMARYSTOWN, N.L. — A 57-year-old man is dead following a truck crash near Grand Bank on Friday, Oct. 13.
Burin Peninsula RCMP and emergency crews responded to a report about an overturned vehicle crashed in the ditch on Route 210, south of Grand Bank at around 2:30 p.m. The driver and lone occupant of the truck was taken to Dr. S. Beckley Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead. The chief medical examiner and an RCMP collision reconstructionist have attended the scene to help with the ongoing investigation.
