An Essex County man was found floating face down in the water at a beach in Spring Lake Saturday, according to police.
The 23-year-old victim, who was from Belleville, was found shortly after 2 p.m. at the St. Clair Avenue beachfront in Monmouth County, according to the Spring Lake Police Department.“The first officers arriving on scene located a floating face down in the surf and pulled him out to initiate life-saving measures,” the statement said.
