Eskasoni RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a home on Eagleview Drive in Eskasoni just after 4 p.m. on April 14. - Postmedia file photoESKASONI, N.S. — Eskasoni RCMP has charged a man after a stabbing at a home in the community on April 14.
Mounties responded to a call reporting a stabbing that in a home on Eagleview Drive in Eskasoni at around 4:10 p.m. Police said a man and a male youth who knew each other got into a fight, resulting in the youth being stabbed.Responding officers arrested Arnold Xavier Sylliboy, 21, and took him to the local detachment.
Sylliboy is charged with assault with a weapon. He was remanded into custody and is set to appear in Sydney provincial court on April 17.
