Sam Jafroudi has been charged with second degree murder.
A 19-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Robel Kinfe Abera in New Westminster.
New Westminster police were responding to reports of shots fired in Hume Park on Saturday night when they discovered Abera’s body.Sam Jafroudi, 19, was arrested shortly after the incident and has since been charged with second-degree murder. Integrated Homicide Investigation Team investigators believe the two men knew each other and say the shooting was not a random incident.
