Nadia Albano helps 39-year-old Jennifer Johnson get her style just right for her upcoming nuptials
Jennifer has medium textured, naturally wavy and long hair. She had been growing out the length for her wedding and was finding it to be shapeless. She wanted a style that would be easy to manage and that would be tied back. She also wanted a length that would work with her wedding day hair style.
I shampooed her hair using Oribe — Signature Shampoo and Conditioner to repair and protect the hair. I applied Oribe Super Shine — Light cream into her mid-lengths and ends as a leave-in to detangle, de-frizz and for heat protection. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and cut her hair into a diagonal back shape. I incorporated long layers throughout her hair and incorporated face framing layers for softness.
Before styling, I sprayed Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray for exaggerated volume and heat protection, then blow dried her hair with a round larch brush. Using a curling wand, I curled her hair to create a soft beachy wave, then finished her look with Oribe Aprés Beach for texture and shine. Makeup:For Jennifer’s makeup, we opted to keep her complexion glowy and natural. To enhance her hazel-green eyes, we used soft lavender and pink tones to contour and define. We filled in her eyebrows and used a peachy-pink blush on her cheeks and lips.
