Makeover: Busy new mom hits the refresh button on her hair style

I felt that a deep chocolate brown would be better suited for her as it would compliment her milky white complexion and beautiful blue eyes. I applied an ammonia-free, semi-permanent colour from root to end in a rich-chocolate brown shade. This formula is ideal for colour longevity and conditioning.

I cleansed her hair with KMS — Moist Repair Shampoo and Conditioner and added KMS — Revival Cream to her mid-lengths and ends for additional hydration. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and cut her hair into a one-length direction forward shape. I wanted to leave some length for her to be able to tie back and incorporated internal layering for added texture and movement.

Before styling, I applied an egg size amount of KMS — Add Volume Styling Foam for long lasting style support, the blow dried her hair with a medium round brush. I switched her from a centre part to a side part to soften her weak hairline. I used a Mint Curling Wand to create soft curls in her hair and finished the style with Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray. After evening out Sarah’s complexion with a lightweight foundation, contoured her face with bronzer and coral-pink blush.
