'Law enforcement is currently investigating at two locations right now,' Maine State Police posted on its Facebook page Wednesday evening.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office in Maine has reported an active shooter situation in Lewiston, releasing images of the suspected gunman.
"Law enforcement in Androscoggin County are investigating two active shooter events," the office posted on its Facebook page. "We are encouraging all businesses to lock down and or close while we investigate. The suspect is still at large." Maine State Police said there is an active shooter situation in the city of Lewiston, and they are investigating multiple scenes. "Law enforcement is asking people to shelter in place,""Law enforcement is currently investigating at two locations right now," the post continued. "Again please stay off the streets and allow law enforcement to diffuse the situation.
