Just three Canada-based auto parts makers find themselves on the 2023 Automotive News Top 100 Global Suppliers List. That’s two fewer than a year ago.

The list, released Monday by sibling publication Automotive News in Detroit, tracks sales to automakers from the previous year.Magna, based in Aurora, Ont., remained fourth on the list. It’s the only Canadian company in the top five. Magna had sales of $37.8 billion to automakers worldwide, up 4.4 per cent over the previous year. The company was also North America’s biggest supplier and the third largest supplier in Europe, behind Robert Bosch and ZF Friedrichshafen.Canadian companies Multimatic and ABC Technologies completely fell off the list. They were ranked 95 and 97, respectively last year.

Robert Bosch remained No. 1 again on this year's ranking, with global parts revenue of $50.46 billion. Denso Crop. And ZF Friedrichshafen finished two and three on the list, with $47.9 billion and $42.1 billion in revenue, respectively.
