A trio of Canada-based auto parts makers all climbed the ranks of the 2024 Automotive News Top 100 Global Suppliers List.
The list, released June 24 by sibling publication Automotive News in Detroit, tracks sales to automakers from the previous year.Magna, based in Aurora, Ont., inched up to third from fourth on the list. It’s the only Canadian company in the top five. Magna had sales of $42.79 billion to automakers worldwide, up nearly 13 per cent over the previous year. The company was also North America’s biggest supplier and the third largest supplier in Europe, behind Robert Bosch and ZF Friedrichshafen.Robert Bosch remained No. 1 again on this year's ranking, with global parts revenue of $55.8 billion. ZF Friedrichshafen was second with $49.7 billion. CATL moved up to fourth from fifth with $41.3 billion. And Denso Crop.
