Magic mushrooms served as inspiration for Lil Nas X while recording his first album — via TheGrowthOp LilNasX Psilocybin
“I was able to write actual stories about my life and put it into my music. I actually did that for the first time,” Lil Nas X said during the interview.
He cites the music video for “Montero ,” which depicts images ranging from the Garden of Eden to Hell, no doubt in part influenced by his psychedelic experiences.that psilocybin “distorts how some people that use the drug perceive objects and people already in their environment.” Just how a person will be affected depends on the amount consumed, past experiences and expectations, with effects usually occurring with 30 minutes and lasting four to six hours.
Lil Nas X reported during the interview that his experience with drugs has helped him to “push past lots of lingering feelings of self-consciousness,”
