MacKenzie Bezos sold about $350 million worth of her Amazon shares—equivalent to 1% of her Amazon stock by AngelAuYeung

This is the first time that Mackenzie has sold any of her Amazon shares. An Amazon spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment. Since the divorce, Mackenzie Bezos has stayed away from the limelight, while her former husband has become a fixture in tabloids with his new girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez. In May, MacKenzie Bezos signed the Giving Pledge, a commitment to give away more than half of her wealth to philanthropy and charitable causes either in her lifetime or after she dies.
The filing with the SEC was released recently but dated December 31, 2019. It doesn’t list the dates on which the shares were sold, but based on average prices in December 2019, she likely sold the shares for around $360 million — before taxes. The SEC filing was listed under Jeff Bezos’ name because he still votes the shares that MacKenzie owns.
