Machine Gun Kelly’s eccentric style has become a staple on the red carpet lately, but the rapper reveals his most recent outfit choice for the 2022 American Music Awards was a bit much, even for him.
Kelly stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to chat with the host about his outfit, a vibrant purple suit adorned with metal spikes. The rapper-turned-rockstar shared that his suit might have delayed the start of the ceremony because the staff didn’t know how to seat him.
“It took me all this time to sit down, and then I saw Lionel Richie coming, and I saw an empty seat next to me, and I was like, ‘Please don’t make this man sit next to this stupid suit,’” he said.
