The Night Agent sounds kind of bonkers.
star Gabriel Basso would be playing low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland, a man who receives a mysterious phone call while working at the White House and has to rush to uncover a deadly conspiracy.
He teams up with a young tech CEO named Rose Larkin, played by the previously announced Luciane Buchanan. She's a woman on the run after assassins are sent after her aunt and uncle, who aren't who she thought they were. Of the new cast members, Chau is playing the White House Chief of Staff, Woodside plays a recently un-retired Secret Serviceman, Evans-Akingbola is playing the head of the VP's daughter's security detail, while Desjardins is the VP's daughter.
