.LouisVuitton took over Goya Studios in Hollywood, transforming it into an immersive Savoir-Faire experience showcasing extraordinary pieces from the Maison’s most exclusive métiers

While Fashion Week kicked off on the East Coast this week, the fashion set in Los Angeles was transported to an entirely different universe. Iconic French luxury brand Louis Vuitton had taken over Goya Studios, just steps from Hollywood’s iconic Walk of Fame, transforming it into an immersive Savoir-Faire experience showcasing a selection of extraordinary pieces from the Maison’s most exclusive métiers.

Guests, including stylists Jessica Paster and Jamie Mizrahi, artist Alex Israel and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, explored the exquisitely curated installations set across three individually themed stages. The first—an imaginary Hollywood star’s Parisian apartment—featured furniture from the new Louis Vuitton x Fornasetti collection, one-of-a-kind handbags in exotic leathers, fine jewelry, and red carpet gowns worn by Regina King, Lupita Nyongo, and Julianne Moore.

An homage to a historic Louis Vuitton workshop showcased the house’s iconic hard-sided trunks, cases and coffrets, including an LVXNBA trunk made of calfskin leather to reproduce the look and feel of a basketball. Elsewhere was a High Tea Trunk with a complete tea service for six, and a Sneakers Trunk with transparent perspex monogram doors to display prized kick collections.

The final stage was devoted to the house’s ever-expanding collection of Objets Nomades furniture and décor. Debuting for the first time in the Americas were floral totems by Damien Langlois-Meurinne and Petal stools by Tokujin Yoshioka that alongside sculptural Bomboca sofas by Fernando and Humberto Campana. There were also lanterns by Zanellato / Bortotto PM and a woven leather hammock designed by Atelier Oï design collective.
