The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Warren Foegele to a three-year contract and defenseman Joel Edmundson to a four-year contract, according to multiple reports.
Edmundson, 31, split the 2023-24 season between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs, collecting one goal and six points in 53 games.‘s Frank Seravalli reported that Edmundson’s new contract carries a $3.8 million cap hit. The Hurricanes originally selected Foegele in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft. The Markham, Ontario product enjoyed a strong junior career with the OHL’s Kingston Frontenacs and Erie Otters before eventually making his NHL debut with the Hurricanes in the 2017-18 season.
