Los Angeles public workers will go on a 24-hour strike on Tuesday, citing “repeated labor law violations” by the city

they will stop work for 24 hours on Tuesday, adding to strikes in the city by Hollywood writers and hospitality workers. The SEIU Local 721, which represents more than 95,000 workers across Southern California including sanitation and water treatment workers, didn’t immediately respond to a request for further comment.
