Flordelis Acosta, 43, of Lorain, could spend a maximum of 17½ years in prison and was designated as a Tier III sex offender.
ELYRIA, Ohio — A Lorain County judge sentenced a woman Thursday to a minimum of 15 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to charges connected to the rape of two teenage girls in 2020.
Lorain County Prosecutor J.D. Tomlinson says that in February 2020, Acosta arranged for her boyfriend, Jose Colon, to rape and abuse two teen girls. Colon previously pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including rape, and was also sentenced 15 to 17½ years in prison.
