Monday night's much-anticipated Iowa caucuses were chaotic to say the least, and now people have a lot of questions.
voters with disabilities , lower-income voters, and voters of color, as the limited-time, evening-only gatherings do not favor those who work nights, or can’t get rides or child care.
But Monday night’s meltdown exposed another criticism: the fast-and-loose, chaotic caucus process itself, in which supporters of each candidate gaggle in different areas of, say, a high school gym, church basement, or community center trying to reach “viability,” or 15% of all attendees at the caucus site. Supporters of candidates who are not viable then have the option of realigning to another candidate.
