Longtime coach Paul Eberhardt shows he still has flair for high school hoops success

Paul Eberhardt led Vancouver’s Langara Falcons to a junior college national title in 2014.

According to tournament historian Ken Winslade, Eberhardt became the first coach to guide four different schools at the top tier of the year-end tournament when the Highlanders hit the floor at the Langley Events Centre on Wednesday to face Port Coquitlam’s Terry Fox in the opening round.

“He’s won at college. He’s won it here. He’s been doing it 40 years,” continued Chambers, who was inducted into the Basketball B.C. Hall of Fame in 2013. “That guy is a legend.”
