An early morning drowning on Beatrice Street in London Tuesday has sparked an investigation by London Police’s major crimes unit, and the coroner’s office, said London Police spokesperson Sandasha Bough.

Rau was in his 80s. His sister, Rose McMaster, was also at the home Tuesday afternoon as the family gathered to grieve. “We’ve been here 30 years and he was here before us,” said one man who declined to give his name. “He was a really good guy. We talked all the time.”
