While London city staff recommended approving the rezoning request as is, committee members voted to on an amendment to remove permission for emergency care establishments.

The site of an old radio station in south London, Ont., will not be rezoned to allow a potential homeless hub.

City staff had recommended approving the applicants request to rezone the site from Restricted Office Zone to Restricted Office Special Provision ) Zone which would allow clinics, emergency care establishments, medical/dental laboratories, business service establishments, daycares, personal service establishments and financial institutions uses.
