The velvet-voiced Lola Young has dropped the video for her new single"Pick Me Up," premiering exclusively onIn the clip, the up-and-coming U.K. singer lounges in a lush hotel suite as she channels her resentment at a disappointing lover.
"My upcoming EP is based around love, and longing, and being a young girl living in south London falling in and out of love," she says, adding that the project's three tracks"will hopefully take people on a short but meaningful journey." Young recently graduated from the Brit School, whose alumni include Amy Winehouse, Adele, Freya Ridings, FKA Twigs, Jade Bird, Jessie J, Leona Lewis, Loyle Carner and Rex Orange County.
