Loki season 2 is almost here, providing the next chapter for the iconic God of Mischief. Although the original Loki was killed in Avengers: Infinity War, Loki's story has still continued thanks to the Avengers' use of time travel in Endgame. Recruited by the Time Variance Authority, Loki has now gained a major role in the exploration of Marvel's multiverse.
10 Loki Had An Alliance With Thanos Following his defeat and assumed death in the first Thor film, Loki resurfaced in league with Thanos the Mad Titan. Leading Chitauri forces in conquest of Earth while promising Thanos the recovery of the Space Stone , Loki was defeated by the combined forces of the Avengers and was subsequently imprisoned in Asgard. This left the Mad Titan without the Space Stone nor the Mind Stone Thanos gave Loki to aid in his invasion.
8 The Avengers Created A New Timeline Where 2012 Loki Escapes Despite Loki's genuine death, the Avengers created the opportunity for his story to continue as seen in Avengers: Endgame. After traveling back in time to recover the Infinity Stones in the past to undo Thanos' Decimation, the Space Stone in 2012 ended up in the hands of Loki.
5 Loki and Sylvie Defeat Alioth After discovering that the Time-Keepers were nothing more than robotic figureheads, Sylvie and Loki were both pruned from the Sacred Timeline. This brought them into the Void outside of time and space. There they worked together using their powers to fight the guardian of the Void known as Alioth, a trans-temporal being whose defeat allowed the Loki variants to access Citadel at the End of Time, home to the true founder of the TVA known as He Who Remains.
