Employment rose in several industries, including finance, insurance, real estate, rental and leasing, manufacturing and in information, culture and recreation.The local unemployment rate was just above the national number – November’s 5.2 per cent for the Belleville Census Metropolitan area was down seven-tenths of a point from October.
