A local teen is one step closer to getting a life-saving kidney transplant. But the family still needs your help. Here’s an update on 15-year-old Devin Smith.

) - “When I was a little girl, people used to come here to this park and throw coins in it and make wishes,” said Erica Watson.

“Without the surgery, Devin probably wouldn’t make it because both of his kidneys are failing,” explained Erica. “The driving part was stressful. When I got there, he started asking me questions and I started feeling happy about the transplant,” said Devin.
