Local athletes came home with some hardware from the recent 2023 CanadianTrevor Greenwood, Nicola Paviglianiti and Dale Willicombe, who train at Infinite Martial Arts & Fitness in Belleville, all won medals.
Greenwood earned gold in the 120+ kg Open Division, squatting 777 lbs, bench pressing 485 lbs and deadlifting 716 lbs.She squatted 397 lbs, bench pressed 204 lbs and deadlifted 413 lbs. In the 120kg masters 1 Division, Dale Willicombe finished third with a 567 lb squat, 385 lb bench press and 595 lb deadlift.
