Teacher Roxanne White of Ecole Notre-dame-du-Sault was one of two teachers recognized

A local teacher is among a pair of staff members that were recognized by Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon for their work during the school year.

Roxanne White, a teacher at Ecole Notre-Dame-du-Sault was honoured along with Miguel Belanger, a teacher from Chelmsford. “It is extremely important for us to honour the exceptional individuals who contribute to the high standards of Catholic French-language education offered in our schools,” said Suzanne Salituri, CSC Nouvelon board chair.

“We are very lucky to have employees like Roxanne and Miguel who give themselves, heart and soul, for our students and our schools,” added Paul Henry, director of education and secretary treasurer at the CSC Nouvelon."Known for her welcoming attitude, this grade 8 teacher displays her leadership skills by organizing gatherings, hosting a school radio show with students and coordinating follow-ups with the Ste-Marie-du-Sault Parish," a release said.
