For Monday, the forecaster said: "Any areas of low cloud and fog patches burning off by mid-morning. Thereafter, long spells of very warm or hot sunshine through the day. High cloud spreading from south later, perhaps enough to give a well isolated afternoon shower.
"And for tonight, it added: "A bright, warm evening with high cloud, possibly giving an isolated light shower. Dry and mostly cloudy overnight with some low cloud nudging into western counties by dawn. Very mild. Minimum temperature 16C."The forecast says: "Much of the day will be bright and very warm. Low cloud across western counties will give showery rain at times, then cloud and showers expected across eastern parts later. Maximum temperature 26C.
