A film/theatre hybrid, bad eggs positions Persephone, Hades and Eve in the modern world. After trying to have a baby for nearly a year, Persephone and Hades are growing anxious. Persephone visits Eve, a fertility doctor who also happens to be her mother. But Eve hasn’t spoken to her mom since she eloped with Hades, and Persephone has debilitating panic attacks whenever she tries to leave the house.
A new documentary features historical reenactments with Harold Joe as Cowichan Chief Tzouhalem. The doc screens at the Rio March 12 and at Vancity March 12 and 13. March 12 at the Rio Theatre, 1660 E. Broadway, Vancouver, and March 12 and 13 at Vancity Theatre, 1181 Seymour St., Vancouver.
