Hospital appoints new vice president to lead the numerous medical care teams overseeing a budget of more than $180M
Lisa Smith, a woman with more than 30 years of nursing experience, is a new vice-president at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
Smith served with distinction as Interim Vice-President and Chief Nursing Executive from January to August 2018 and as Vice-President, Medicine, and CNE from 2020 to 2022 before retiring from HSN in the spring of 2022, said the release. He said Smith was selected from a competitive pool of 34 applicants, by a 13-member selection committee, including representation from the HSN board and leadership, union leadership, and patient and family advisors.
