Lilly swims-bikes-runs to world silver medal.
Local Tri-athlete Angela Lilly has taken her place on the podium on the world stage.
The Stirling native was second in her age group at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in St. George Utah. Lilly, a high school teacher with the Hastings-Prince Edward District School Board earned a silver medal in the 45-49 age group after posting the fastest swim split and the fastest ride.Lilly finished more than seven minutes ahead of the third place finisher.
