We claim to love freedom of speech, but then demand the government censor speech we don’t like. We claim to believe in religious freedom and conscience rights, but then demand governments dictate how people must act while ignoring their religious or conscience rights.I haven’t even mentioned how often Quebec has used the Notwithstanding Clause, or Section 33 of the Charter of rights and Freedoms as it is also known.
