Last week, Rogers rolled out subway service for their customers just in time for the big back to school sales push.Remarkably, the response from the political class has been muted since this happened. Back in April, when mayoral candidates were fighting for votes, they made this out to be a key safety issue, claiming service for all was a must.

“Make it faster and let’s go to CRTC and federal government to say, ‘Hey, make sure Rogers’ agreement works for everybody whether you’re Bell or Telus,” Chow told CTV News at the time.“This is a good first step. Mayor Chow believes that all Torontonians deserve to have access to cell service on the TTC and hopes that all carriers will work together to make that happen swiftly,” her office said in response to a media request. There was an error, please provide a valid email address.
