When Rouleau was appointed last April, I looked into his past and found Liberal ties and wrote about them at the time. Claims that Rouleau’s brother was married to Suzette Trudeau, the older sister of Pierre Trudeau, and that the judge was therefore Trudeau’s “uncle-in-law” were so preposterous that I ignored them after a cursory glance at the facts.Article contentafter her husband, Pierre Rouleau, had long passed.
