Many Liberals — and too many in the media — have been dismissive of Poilievre throughout the leadership campaign. All of his parents, his brother and his wife’s family were there supporting him in Ottawa.Article contentHe was warm, he was personable, he was human, and it touched people who had never seen this side of him before. Poilievre’s public persona has been as a policy wonk, and a partisan scrapper — not the warm family man.
That might get you a social media clip, it might make the evening news, but job wise, it only gets him the job he now has, Leader of His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition.
